My passion for ancient history and art inspired me to become a tour guide and I am eager to share knowledge and emotions with travelers. This job not only involves continuous learning and updating but also allows to share curiosity and enthusiasm with people.
Archaeologist specialising in iconography and painting technique of Roman wall painting.
I graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, obtained a Specialization in Archaeology (University of Bologna) and a PhD in Archaeological Science (University of Padua). I have been teaching tutor for the MA degree in Archaeology at the University of Bologna and has lectured Roman Archaeology and Art History. I have been a licensed guide since 2014.Besides carrying out research, I have translated archaeology projects and essays.
I have joined several fieldwork projects, at the Roman Port of Classe and the Etruscan town of Marzabotto, where I also led archaeological tours. I carried out detailed visual studies of wall and floor decorations at Pompeii and Herculaneum. I have taught adult learning courses in Archaeology and History of Ancient Art and organized and led cultural tours in Italy.
